This Privacy Policy explains how TOS — Transport Operating System ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
The App collects the following information:
- Phone number: Used for login and account creation via OTP.
- Business data: Job details, client names, vendor names, vehicle information, documents you upload, and billing records you enter into the App.
- Usage analytics: Anonymous usage events (e.g., features used, screens visited) collected via PostHog analytics. No personally identifiable information is sent to PostHog.
- Crash and diagnostic data: If the App crashes, technical information (device model, OS version, error details) is collected via Sentry to help us fix problems.
- Device identifiers for notifications: A push notification token is collected via OneSignal so the App can send you reminders and updates.
- Voice input (optional): If you use the voice input feature, your audio is processed to convert speech into text. Audio is used only for transcription and is not retained by the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the App's features
- To send OTP for authentication via SMS
- To store your transport business records securely
- To send you reminders and push notifications about your jobs
- To analyse anonymous usage patterns and improve the product
- To diagnose and fix crashes and technical errors
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (cloud database). We use industry-standard security including Row Level Security (RLS) so only you can access your own data.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage (Privacy Policy)
- Twilio — SMS OTP delivery (Privacy Policy)
- Anthropic Claude API — AI features such as the Smart Parser, which extracts transport data from messages and documents you choose to process (Privacy Policy)
- OpenAI Whisper — Speech-to-text transcription for the voice input feature (Privacy Policy)
- PostHog — Anonymous usage analytics (Privacy Policy)
- Sentry — Crash reporting and error diagnostics (Privacy Policy)
- OneSignal — Push notifications (Privacy Policy)
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above, strictly as required to operate the App.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When your account is deleted, your personal data is removed from our systems.
7. Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. See our Account Deletion page for instructions, or email us directly at the address below. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
8. Your Rights (DPDPA 2023)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request erasure of your personal data
- Withdraw consent at any time

9. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by adults (18+) engaged in transport business operations. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
